This method only works with android phones. Simply connect the USB Cable to the computer and connect the other end to the phone. On you phone it will ask you if you want to allow access to your computer. Then you would simply browse through your files like if it was a thumb drive connected on you computer.
With Dropbox, you download the app, works with iphone and android, login with dropbox account username and password, then in the app, there is a setting called “Turn on camera upload” turn it on and your photos will start getting uploaded to the cloud. Again once you have your photos uploaded you can go online dropbox.com and login and you can see all the photos you uploaded. You can also have them downloaded on you computer. This works with iPhone and Android phones. Download the Google Photos app from the app store. Sign login with a google account, or you can also create a separate account for this purpose, just make sure you write down the username and password. Then Google Photos will upload all your photos and move them to the cloud. From there you can login to your google account and go to the photos section and you will see all the photos that have been uploaded.
