Buying from Craig’s list used laptop’s

When buying from Craig’s list, sellers tend to forget to write the condition of the laptop, or device. Here are some tips to keep in mind when buying used equipment.

Making sure that the laptop or desktop computer comes with all the parts, is always good!! Ask about:

• battery state, is it new, used, how long does it take to charge, how long can it keep a charge
• Any recent repairs, screen replaced, new hard drive?
• Software, is it a new installation of windows? important
  has it been activated!
  What windows version came originally with the computer?
• Does it still have the license key that came with it? Usually a sticker on the side or back of the case or on the bottom of the laptop
