This are the signs of a computer that is infected with a computer virus:

- Random restart or shutdown window
- Unknown error messages or pop-ups
- Your computer runs slower.
- Extra toolbar’s on internet explorer or new extensions in Chrome browser.
- Shortcuts on your desktop to programs you didn’t installed
The one way to make sure that you don’t have virus or malware on you computer, is to run a few antivirus and anti malware programs.
This programs will look and go trough you computer to find and remove any sign of malware or virus.
By going to google and searching for Malwarebytes, you will be taken to the https://www.malwarebytes.com/ website. Here you can download and install Malwarebytes a well known anti malware and antivirus tool.
This tool will help you see if there are any malware or virus programs on you computer. Another tool to use would be Free AVG Antivirus
This Antivirus program will scan and remove any virus that might be on your computer.
If these programs find any malware or virus programs, it will ask you if you want to remove them. If there are more than 100 results found on a scan by ether Malwarebytes or Free AVG, you Should take your computer to someone that knows how to do a more in dept virus scan. They will not only do virus and malware scans, but might also be able to fix any issues that the virus programs had caused to your computer.
